Natural beauty,

With skin that’s not of this world,

Brown skin girl,

Covered in white lip prints of her angel,

She’s different,

“Unique” as her mom prefers,

Yet she doesn’t cover up this distinction,

For she knows that she isn’t beautiful,

If she isn’t really showing herself,

So she refuses to hide behind product,

But instead she sits on the truth like a soap box,

She preaches to these girls,

Saying to each one. ..

That make up that you cake on is worse than your bad habits,

And you can’t go without it, you’re just as bad as the worst addicts,

Adding that camouflage to true beauty only giving your insecurities a rush,

When cover girl should’ve told you that you can’t cover up enough of your problems with blush,

And that the foundation you bought will disguise instead of add,

But they won’t put that in the ad,

It’s all a plot,

They need you pretty girls stuck with ugly thoughts,

And they need all of those thoughts of yourself while they have their babies flaunt,

But you’re a real girl with no room for improvement so that make up is not what you want…
